[Løst] Kan ikke åpne noen programmer. Service did not resond in a timely fashion

Har skrevet en post på Microsofts supportside som jeg ikke har fått noe svar på. Har bare copy-pasted posten derifra, derav engelsken.

 

 

I can't open any windows programs. Not task manager, not the command line, not msconfig, nothing. I can not install any new programs. It seems to be the case that I can only open programs I have installed my self because I can open things like Chrome and games.

 

The exact message I get is this:

 

"C:\Windows\system32\taskmgr.exe

The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion."

 

I have read many posts about similar problems. The solutions they give there is SFC scan, clean boot, run Microsoft Safety Scanner, but I can't do any of those things because I can't open anything.

 

On a side not I have been having trouble with the Group policy client service. It just don't want to run. This problem has been here for a long time so I don't know if it's related to this.
