Hva kan være galt... ??

 

Dessuten fungerer ikke oppdatering (via LiveUpdate) av Utilities og Speed Disk...

 

Hvordan fixe dette??

Error: "navapw32.exe - Entry Point Not Found" then "The procedure entry point ?SRStopRedirect@@YAKK@Z could not be located..."

 

Situation:

Norton AntiVirus (NAV) is installed as a stand-alone product or as a part of Norton SystemWorks (NSW). After running LiveUpdate and downloading a Symantec Redirector program update, you see the error message "navapw32.exe - Entry Point Not Found" followed by "The procedure entry point ?SRStopRedirect@@YAKK@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library SymRedir.dll." This error might also happen during restart after installing either Norton Internet Security (NIS) or Norton Personal Firewall (NPF).

 

Solution:

Symantec is investigating this problem. The cause is unknown, and there is no solution at this time. This document will be updated when new information or a solution is found.

 

For instructions to work around the problem, see the NAV document "Error: "navapw32.exe - Entry Point Not Found" then "The procedure entry point ?SRStopRedirect@@YAKK@Z could not be located...."
