Top Cyber Monday Deals

Although Black Friday is supposed to be "the day" for great deals, I'll admit that I was not all that impressed with what Nikon had to offer, aside from a couple of fine deals on lower-end cameras. Well, it is Cyber Monday today and things are looking much more interesting, with some great deals from Nikon definitely worth looking at. The Nikon Coolpix A did not sell all that well for $579 on Black Friday, but it seems like Nikon is either releasing a replacement, or just wants to clear off the shelves, since the price has been slashed even more - the Nikon Coolpix A is on sale for $499, for today only until the stock is gone (about 10% of the stock has already been claimed). At this price, the little camera with a large APS-C sensor is a great deal, so if you need a small pocketable travel camera, you might want to check it out! In addition to this, there are a few other deals like the Nikon 1 V2 kit for $499 that I found and picked for our readers. If I find anything else worth posting today, I will update this article.

Nikon

Here are the best Cyber Monday deals from Nikon:

1. Nikon Coolpix A for $499 ($600 off) - what a great deal for a compact camera with a 16.2 MP APS-C sensor!

2. Nikon 1 V2 with 10-30mm kit lens for $499 ($300 off) - another great deal for a great travel setup. See Thomas Stirr's amazing work with the Nikon 1 V2 to see what the camera is capable of. If you already have lenses for the Nikon 1 series cameras, the Nikon 1 V2 is on sale for $399!

3. Nikon D7100 has been heavily discounted to $896.95 ($300 off) for body only - if you need a lens + camera, the D7100 + 18-140mm VR DX kit is $500 off, while the two lens kit is $730 off. A few additional options with other lenses are available with different discounts

4. Nikon D5200 has also been discounted by up to $420 in instant savings for a two lens combo deal at $696.95 - that's priced lower than what the camera sold by itself when it was announced

Canon

Not a whole lot going on for Canon, except for the EOS 7D $600 discount:

1. Canon EOS 7D with 28-135mm IS USM kit lens for $1099 ($600 off) - with the 7D Mark II already out, it makes sense for Canon to clear off the shelves as soon as possible, which is why there is a heavy $600 discount

2. Canon EOS 6D with PIXMA PRO-10 Printer for $1899 ($887 off) - a great combo for a great price

3. Canon PowerShot S110 for $189 ($60 off) - not a fan of point and shoots, but this seems like a good deal
