Navarin Skrevet 24. august 2014 Del Skrevet 24. august 2014 Hallo! I'll want to move to Norway (for thos beautiful mountains) and i think the best way to learn a language is the pc game At least these are my experiences. Where can I find language packs for Europa Universalis 3 or other paradox games? Takk! Lenke til kommentar
Slai Skrevet 24. august 2014 Del Skrevet 24. august 2014 (endret) The best way to learn a language is to immerse yourself in it, and having a teaching method that has some root in pedagogics/educational science. Like having a teacher who knows what hes doing, coupled with lots of Norwegian books and tv shows and someone to talk to in Norwegian on a daily basis. Moving to Norway is a huge help, and should speed your learning up by insane amounts. Endret 24. august 2014 av Slai Lenke til kommentar
Navarin Skrevet 24. august 2014 Forfatter Del Skrevet 24. august 2014 Thanks. I'll do them of course. But playing games with that language is massive help too. So is there a site where can i search language packages? Lenke til kommentar
Mr. President™ Skrevet 24. august 2014 Del Skrevet 24. august 2014 Didn't find much by Googling. Maybe you should try another game? I got alot better in english by playing GTA San Andreas Multiplayer at the age of 10. People would say that it's a bad game for kids to play. Probably for some people, but as for me, I've only had positive experiences. Definitely more pros than cons. Maybe you should try Minecraft on a norwegian server? Might become boring after a while though. Lenke til kommentar

OlaHaldor Skrevet 25. august 2014 Del Skrevet 25. august 2014 If you use Steam you could set language to Norwegian. Some games default to the steam language, and in game text and menues will be Norwegian where available. Lenke til kommentar
Datasmurf Skrevet 25. august 2014 Del Skrevet 25. august 2014 One game you could try is Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, you can get a Norwegian language pack, they'll speak Norwegian but have english subtitles! It is a good game, of course, but the first game is - in my humble opinion - even better, so go check out "The Longest Journey" (Den lengste reisen) while you're at it. Other games you could check out is the "Backpacker" series, which are Swedish games (with Norwegian language packs) taking you around the world to photograph this and that, while you work to earn money to travel. It's kind of like a boardgame, and to work, you'll have to answer questions and such about the towns / countries you are visiting, and more regular questions about animals, technology, art, music et cetera. There's also other Scandinavian games in this genre, like the Danish "Globetrotter" 1 and 2 - which are the spiritual successors to the "Backpacker" series, and my favourite game from when I was a kid, the Norwegian (at least I think it was) "GeoSmart". Unlikely Skrevet 28. august 2014 Del Skrevet 28. august 2014 I bought Farcry 3 and to my disappointment the entire game was in Norwegian.... Might work for you tho, if you're into shooters. Lenke til kommentar
