Flybilletten ble bestilt direkte av Lufthansa til den nette sum av 6801,- hvor 3645,- er såkalte "taxes and carrier imposed fees". Nå hadde jeg inntrykk av at skatter og avgifter blir refundert selv om billetten er såkalt non-refundable så jeg avbestile billetten i den tro at jeg kom til å få noe tilbake.Lufthansa var tydeligvis uenig. Har jeg noe jeg skulle ha sagt her? Mailen fra Lufthansa sier følgende Dear Mr X, Thank you for your email dated 22 April 2014. We thank you for your patience whilst awaiting our response.Following your request, and after contacting our refund department, we can confirm that the refund of the reservation X has been calculated as zero. We would like to take this opportunity to give you more detailed information as to why a refund of the tickets is not possible in this case. We do not allow refunds on non-refundable tickets, as flexibility is one of the main criteria by which we differentiate our various fares. Like all other airlines, we apply the principle that the more flexibility a particular tariff offers, the more expensive it will be. Please be kindly advised that where passengers cancel their ticket for non-exceptional reasons only a refund of the unused taxes and fees is applicable. Furthermore, as of spring 2010, our regulations for the cancellation of non-refundable flight tickets have been revised. In addition to the net fare, we also retain the fuel and safety surcharge.The taxes and fees for third parties, such as for example, the airports and Air Traffic Control taxes, which Lufthansa collects on the ticket price, will be reimbursed to the aircraft passenger, for the flight routes which were not used.Refund requests also incur a non-refundable Refund Service Charge. Additionally, where the refundable amount is less than the mentioned charge, the refund equals to zero.
