nettverksproblem i redhat9.0

Har nettop fått installert redhat 9.0 :D men nettverket vil ikke fungere, ser at det ikke er installert noen nettverks kort inne på "nettverkskonfigurasjon". Prøvde og legge til nettverkskortet mannuelt men kortet står ikke på på listen, det er eit Intigrert "Realtek 8201AL PHY" hvordan skal jeg få fikset dette?

 

(Er ingen ekspert i linux for å få det sakt :lol: )

okay, får opp masse jeg ikke forstår so mye av, men siden jeg ikke har nettverk/internett på den maskinen så må jeg få tekst filen over på en diskett, så der kommer neste problem....hehe :lol: finner F*** ikke ut hvordan man finner/kommer inn på disketten. Må han mounte den eller noe? :-?

mount /mnt/floppy && cd /mnt/floppy && dmesg > dmesg.out && cd .. && umount floppy

bare skriv hele linja(med &&-ene) og vips så har du en diskett som inneholder fila dmesg.out som inneholder infoen vi trenger. Mens du er i gang så kan du også poste outputten av en 'ifconfig' (uten '-ene).

okay, har endelig fått til internett på den :D

Jeg tok og satt i eit Unex kort, det rare var at under oppstarten så fant den plutselig Realtek kortet, så jeg konfigurerte det. Når jeg kom inn i redhat kunne jeg pinge og alt fungerte fint, så jeg tenkte "da kan jeg ta ut unex kortet igjen" men neida. I redhat står det at det er realtek kortet som er installert, men det er unex kortet som blir brukt :lol: jaja...er greit det, bare det fungerer
