10:00 Here are they key points from Sir Alex's pre-Chelsea press conference, which included champagne for the journalists!

 

* Danny Welbeck is out of Sunday's game but Paul Scholes and Nemanja Vidic are back in training. Scholes could be on the bench.

 

* We'll field a strong team because Chelsea are chasing a Champions League place. It should be a good game as we should play with enthusiasm and enjoyment.

 

* The players want to go to Chester races next week but the boss may cancel that if we don't win on Sunday!

 

* One or two new bodies will come in during the summer. The planning has been taking place for some time.

 

"We've been doing that [planning for next season] for a while,". "Your scouting goes on for the full season, actually sometimes two seasons when you maybe monitor a younger player. You want to see how he does the next season. That is the process we go through. We’ve got some ideas where we’re going and hopefully we can conclude them.

 

"We'll look at one or two bodies to come in. You’ve got to remember there are a lot of young players we expect to improve and take that into consideration. And you have to consider ages of players and protect that part. In the main, we’re know where we are. We’re comfortable.

"Welbeck is out of Sunday, The rest are all fit. Scholes and Vidic are training and I’ll probably put Scholes on the bench on Sunday to get him back into the fray. I’d love him to play in the Swansea game.

 

“We did pretty well at Arsenal last weekend and should’ve won it with the chances we had. Chelsea are chasing a Champion League place as well and we'll be playing the strongest team we can.

 

"Chelsea have done fantastically well over the last few weeks and they are in the final of the Europa League. It should be a good game. We need to play with good enthusiam and enjoy it. We should express ourselves and try to finish off a good season."

 

Virker som at motivasjonen er der selv om ligaen for lengst er vunnet. Tror Chelsea fort kan ende opp som vår argeste konkurrent neste sesong, derfor er det en stor fordel for oss om Chelsea går glipp av topp 4.

Da blir det dilemma for Benitez. Satse alt på denne kampen og tre poeng ved å for eks. bruke Mata, Oscar og Hazard, eller ikke gi alt ved å ikke bruke de beste spillerene. F. eks. Mata og Hazard kan pådra seg en skade denne kampen, og da blir finalekampen ganske håpløs med tanke på at nøkkelspillere evt. er ute. Jeg er ihvertfall skråsikker på at Benifca kommer til å satse 100% på å vinne Europaligaen, så nøkkelspillerene må være tilgjengelige.
