Her er brevet: Bonjour and hello, sorry if my English isn't good. I was studying Greek numbers at http://www.explorecr...eek-numbers.htm and at the same time I was studying the largest SI-prefix unit to date, Yotta at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yotta- Yotta is 10^24 but for me it's not high enough when calculating with very large numbers, for example the distances and time in space. Especially in billions of light years, and translate it into integer numbers. Yotta is not always sufficient. For example I calculated a distance with a result of 797 981 Yottameters of visible expanding universe, it would be better to call it 797,981 Xeniameters. I made the name Xenia from “enia” = “nine” in Greek. Beside I think it's time to add the 10^27 prefix, we are in 2013 now and we are in need for a pretty 10^27 prefix name. I would suggest the name Xenia for that. Here are my reasons: *Xenia is beautiful and suitable for 10^27 (= 1 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000) *As I mentioned earlier, saying for example 797 981 Yottameters as a result would mean it's time for an increase in the SI-prefixes. *As far as I know, X is still a unused symbol in the SI-system. *I made the name Xenia from the Greek number 9 = enia. If you add the two numbers in 27 together you get 2 + 7 = 9. *10^27 is 1000^9 so again enia (=nine) in Greek. *Again 2 + 7 is 9 so it's logical and easy to remember. *3*9 =27. *X can also mean Xtreme. So it gives an impression of an extremely high number, which 10^27 is. It would be the biggest number (Yotta * 1000). *Zetta has the Short scale name Sextillion, Yotta has the Short scale name Septillion, so it would be logical to give Xena the Short scale name Huitillion or Neuftillion (neuf = nine in French). Either way is acceptable and non-interfering. *Since Yotta is named Quadrillion in the Long scale, it would be logical to call Xenia Quadrilliard in the Long scale. *Full data of Xenia (10^27): Prefix: Xenia Symbol: X 1000^m: 1000^9 Decimal: 1 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 Shortscale: Huitillion or Neuftillion (neuf = nine in French) Longscale: Quadrilliard Since: February 2013 *Please please please consider my advice I would be most happy with a reply.
