You can earn anything from 200-500.000 NOK With that education , Even more and maybe a few thousand less but it kinda depends on what kind of IT you know ,

Is it about servers and windows clients ? Creating users etc for companies or is it programing and that sort of stuff ?

Renting is rarely cheap in Norway at all , You might come across some apartments with 6-7.000 a month but its rarely less then 10.000 a month if its an "urban" place . If its a little more country side you can even find some for less then 7.000 a month electricity included but this will also make you travel more to buy food and get to work etc so it might not be much cheaper.

You can also find some apartments you share with other people , Like you got your own private room but the living room , kitchen and bathroom is for everyone. Those might be a little less expensive.

I do not know about your food habits and what you like to eat or if you like to buy "Ready to eat" food ,

I guess it is like this everywhere but its cheaper to make your own food then to buy "ready to eat" food like noodles,Pizza and so on.

When you say with no experience , Do you have the full education or do you need 1-2 years of training before you are fully educated in the field ? In that case you wont earn as much , Thats like around 10-15.000 a month ( 15.000 if you are lucky )

I am not sure about the EU passport thing, All i know its hard to settle down here , Its all over the news that its real hard for young people with low amounts of money to get into their own life with their own house/apartment and you might need 15-35.000 NOK just to pay the deposit to rent an apartment , Its usually 3 times the monthly rent . If the rent is 10.000 you have to pay 30.000 up front as a deposit.

How expensive it is to rent a appartment deppends on where in the country you rent, it aint as bad as Eriksendrul writes at all. Yeah sure if you want to live central in a own like Oslo the prices are high like that.

Not sure about you but i have been looking for apartments the last year and i have rarely found anyone that is priced lower then 7.000 NOK even if the apartment is small and has nothing in it. The prices are trough the roof now`a days, Even if the apartment is on the countryside but still close to a normal grocery store the price is raised by 1-1.500 NOK just because its close to something. In Oslo you might be able to find something around 10.000 NOK but rarely its less. The cheapest apartment i found was 10 minutes away from anything by car and was 5.800 NOK a month electricity not included. Deposit of 15,500 NOK and had dishwasher, fridge etc but it was an old ugly apartment. The prices are to high but you should keep looking , You might find some real cheap ones you like and really want but those are often taken the same day they are announced so you have to be active in the search for an apartment if you want a good one thats not to pricey.

The countryside apartments with no shops or basicly anything useful around goes for around 5-6.500 but its not really a good place, It might be cheap but you still got to spend time, money and energy to get groceries and get to work, So it kinda kicks both ways , Either you can spend allot of time and some money to get around and get what you need or you can spend more money on the rent and get easier daily life since everything is a little closer. Been searching for apartments for 1 year and its not easy at all

Thank you people for answers ! Well , my education is fully recognized by NOKUT , but I would work anything while I don't get into IT field maybe. I have two bachelor levels, but I guess nobody would hire me without experience . So I was thinking about finding some " simple " job for the beginning. I am still on the phase of deciding , so all this info are pretty confusing . Good stuff is that I don't need work permit , so I have full access to norwegian labour makrket with EU pass . I heard a lot about HIGH prices in Norge , especially for renting . My food habits are pretty "normal" :green: , I like to prepare food on my own , and I don't spend too much on "street food " . I think life can be fine with + 22 000 netto , after skatt ! I would be happy If I can get that salary , but all this is with the big question mark . :) .

Takk igjen ;)
