Det gjør du rett i :-) Og du har valgt riktig bosted, som et fint utganspunkt. Her starter buss og flere båtturer fra.

Jeg var der for 2 år siden, og et eventyr for en hobbyfotograf. Laget en skikkelig fotobok av det hele.

Du kan hoppe på sånne busser som tar deg rundt på øya. Du kan hoppe av når du vil, og hoppe på neste buss igjen. Det anbefales at du stopper i Mdina. Det er den gamle hovestaden, og ligger oppe på en høyde. Veldig spesialt. Ta gjerne busser med åpen topp.

Det finnes veldig fargerike små fiskebåter på Malta, og ja, jeg kosa r#va av meg der.

Ta en båttur via the Blue Lagoon over til naboøya Gozo. Buss til nordenden av øya der, og du finner millioner av fotomotiver. Der er et hull i fjellet, fra en lagune og ut i havet. Her pleier malerkunstnere å sitte å male.

Og fra Sliema går det ferge over til Valetta hele dagen. Kamera er et MUST i Valetta.

Et godt vidvinkelobjektiv er tingen her. Havnen, Grand Harbour i Valetta er meget spesiell. Her går båtturer fra Sliema, rundt havnen i Sliema og Valetta. Anbefales.

 

Du kan ta en stor hurtiggående katamara over til Sicilia og ta buss opp til vulkanen der.

Så katamaran tilbake til Valetta samme kveld.

 

Som sagt, et godt vidvinkelobjektiv er å foretrekke her. En hendig zoom for å variere litt. Og fra Mdina er det god utsikt mot Valetta og Sliema.

Malta har en lang og til tider voldsom historie.

Når det gjelder arkitektur, så vil du nok finne langt mer av det middelalderske enn av moderne.

Ja, det stemmer.

Er det moderne arkitektur som er tingen, så er ikke Malta stedet.

Men så liker jeg det gamle jeg da.

Var på forelesning om St. Johns and the knights. Vel verdt å få med seg.

Som nevnt tidligere så kan Gozo anbefales. Solnedgang ved Azure Window er bra. Og en tur til Marsaxlokk bør også stå på listen til enhver fotograf som besøker øyen.
