DroidOle Skrevet 16. september 2011 Del Skrevet 16. september 2011 (endret) Om dette viser seg og stemme kan iphone5 gå og legge seg selv før den er kommet Samsung Galaxy S smartphones always come with specs that surpass most devices. Such will be the case for the upcoming successor in 2012. While the anonymous 4Chan user did not get to play with a working device, he claims to have seen images and heard Samsung representatives speak of some impressive features. According to the sources, “Samsung is planning to reveal the Samsung Galaxy S III at the 2012 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Samsung will try to get a simultaneous worldwide release for the Galaxy S III mid 2012.” This is to be expected, as Samsung also announced the latest Galaxy S device during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. If we look at the supposed specs, though, jaws really start dropping: The specifications for the SGSIII are of course subject to change, but are Samsung- developed 2.0GHz quad-core CPU (no codename given), 1.5gb RAM, 32gb internal memory (with sd card slot), and a 4.65 inch screen. A new display called Super AMOLED III is being developed specifically for the phone (SGS had Super AMOLED, SGS II had Super AMOLED Plus, SGS III has Super AMOLED III) with 1280x1024 resolution, giving the phone a ppi of 352, which they emphasized that a 352ppi will make it the highest ppi mobile phone. ANONYMOUS 4Chan user Those are some stunning specs! We’d heard of a possible 2 GHz dual-core processor (check out CNET’s report on it), most likely due to the new 28nm CPUs (clockable to up to 2.5 GHz). A quad-core processor clocked at those speeds would simply be a game-changer, though. Such a CPU would be stronger than many current PC processors. As expected from Samsung devices, the screen will be beautiful. Measuring 4.65-inches diagonally and sporting the successor of the Super AMOLED Plus display, media should be looking quite bright and beautiful. We really do not know how much better Super AMOLED III could be (can they really make the display that much better?), but the resolution is the big shocker. 1280 x 1024p on a 4.65-inch screen is simply out of this world. If you happen to like having the latest software and don’t like manufacturer UI overlays, the following will definitely come as great news: The phone will have Androids latest Ice Cream Sandwich software and an all new TouchWiz 5 which has been in co-development with Google during the development of the Galaxy Nexus, so according to the Samsung representatives, it isn’t as “intrusive to Android” as previous TouchWiz versions were. It seems TouchWiz will play a minor role and only have little improvements to ICS. It won’t control the user experience. One of the reasons why they’re not going with a full TouchWiz experience is for a few reasons, one being that the ICS experience is very user friendly already and also it will also Samsung to update software on their phones at a faster rate than they have in the past. ANONYMOUS 4Chan user The device also “has a 2250 mAh battery, 10 megapixel camera and is capable of shooting 1080p video at 60 frames per second,” and “will come with an inbuilt NFC chip.” We are yet to see how much juice a device like this would suck out of a battery, but 2250 mAh sounds like it should get you through the day easily. When it comes to aesthetics, Samsung is sure not to stay behind. As you can see in the quoted text to the left, this manufacturer will continue to bring among the slimmest and better-looking phones out there. Whoa there, Samsung! You’re not taking any breaks, are you? If this is what 2012 devices will be sporting, the future cannot come fast enough. What do you guys think of these rumored specs? Were you expecting something better out of 2012? Are you impressed? Who’s looking forward to a device like this? Imagine what overclocking this beast would be like… Below is the full post found on 4Chan: Endret 19. september 2011 av cyclo Emnetittel forbedret Lenke til kommentar
