I bought my Samsung Galaxy S2 in Copenhagen I live there. After having the device for 2 days I managed to drop it onto the ground and then the screen broke. I dropped it from a 40 centimeter-height. It's sad but true. The phone still works perfectly but with a huge X-crack over the entire screen. I have heard that to replace it you also must replace the TFT because the TFT and the Glass is somehow glued or connected together. Wasn't GORILLA GLASS supposed to be also uncrackable? Anyways. This is actually not my reason for posting here. Both me and my employer are gadget-geeks and we always buy the latest in phones. The reason why I am mentioning him as well, is that we are *both* seeing problems everyday with MICROPHONE and DROPPED CALLS. The issue is when I dial people or when people call me, on random occasions they I cannot hear them. The fix is SOMETIEMS to turn the SPEAKER on and off, this. But like I said, this works SOMETIMES. Another problem is that while we are talking, connection drops. Suddenly. I can hear a 3millisecond SCREEETCH/WHINE during the connection-drop. This is outrageous. Old Stable Nokia phones, that we really didn't have to replace, SOUND BETTER and WORK BETTER than this. CALLING. Not some ultra-advanced Android-feature, but CALLING doesn't work on the world's best phone. Outrageous. Sometimes I also get a problem with the memory-card getting UNMOUNTED (Linux/Android speak) for no reason. I have no idea why. It suddenly "pops back in" and I can access the media-files on the SDCARD again. Another error is that I sometimes get a MEMORY INSUFFICIENT to access the music-player. I am also IMPRESSED by the insanely fast speed the battery drops. I know that it's my fault. But I can use 70% of the battery in 1.5 hours. Here's how: 3G internet access connected WIFI-HOTSPOT turned on Girlfriend surfing the web Friend calling me on Skype (on the phone) 70% of the battery in 1.5 hours. I have tested this only as a scientific experiment, I of course understand that I must have it connected to the charger to have it function as a wireless router and an IP phone But the Batterygraph (3rd party app) is truly amazing to watch. Thank you for listening. To sum up, my biggest problem is that CALLING doesn't work satisfactory. Endret 29. august 2011 av unixhero Lenke til kommentar
