Dagens nye spill på GOG er Blood II: The Chosen!

 

 

Have you played One Unit Whole Blood yet? Of course you have! In that case you must be hungry for ludicrous amounts of bodily fluids and Caleb's crude one-liners!

 

Blood II: The Chosen is a first-person shooter game and the sequel to the original Blood. As such you can expect shooting tons of guns, arcane magic, gibs flying all over the place and the occasional blowing stuff up. This title is not all about destruction and violence, though - you can expect a good laugh, or facepalm, at regular intervals. In addition to cheesy one-liners and really, really bad jokes Blood II likes to "break the third wall" on occasion, with the characters making references to being in a video game, or referring to you, the player, directly. Finally, our Blood II pack contains both the original game and the Nightmare Levels expansion... So much content for only $5.99!

 

In a time of turmoil and decay, a dark organization with a sinister agenda casts its shadow over the world. But as their plot unfolds, an even greater evil pushes its twisted being at the very bindings of reality...

Hele Lucasarts adventure katalogen ville vært vanvittig fin å se på gog, men siden de holder på med restaurering av spillene for så å legges ut på steam så er nok det ganske usannsynlig. Personlig savner jeg bioware sine rollespill.

GOG-folka har sagt at LucasArts og Infinity Engine spillene er høyt oppe på ønskelisten deres og at de jobber aktivt med å få overtalt de som sitter med rettighetene. Med Atari med på laget så er kanskje sjangsen for de siste i det minste litt større enn før. Det store problemet der er desverre den pågående rettsaken mellom Hasbro og Atari angående Dungeons & Dragons lisensen.

The third and, to date, last installment of the Master of Orion series has just landed on GOG.com.

 

Master of Orion 3 is a 4X turn-based strategy game with RTS elements. Compared to its predecessors, MOO3 is almost an entirely different game. It's been a while since we last released a fantasy-themed action game. We would like to make up for this with this title, which you might have overlooked seven years ago, but whose graphics would hint at it being much younger.

 

Enclave is a TPP/FPP action game set in a dark fantasy world with some steampunk undertones. A grim war between Light and Darkness has left the entire world all but destroyed... Except for Celenheim, now known as the Enclave - a prosperous city once surrounded by a bottomless rift, which offered ideal protection and allowed the city to prosper. This island of peace in an ocean of chaos may not last long, though, as the rift has begun to close, allowing the bitter Outlanders to invade the land they had hated and envied for centuries. It is your duty to protect your homeland against Darkness, but after you finish the game, you will be able to tread the dark path instead.

 

In the fantasy world of Enclave the people of Light and Darkness are divided by a bottomless rift that split the earth many millennia ago. The lands of Light are prosperous and rich, an Enclave of truth and order, surrounded by the twisted and barren lands of the dark, war-ravaged plains known as the Outlands.

 

Over the centuries the rift has started to close, skirmishes along the border have become more and more frequent and it is only a matter of time before these altercations turn into a full scale war.

 

Here, it is up to you to choose. Will you lead the desperate people of Celenheim and save them from destruction, or will you ally with the dark hordes of the Outlands and overrun the Enclave to get back what you claim to be yours?
