Personer som prøver å ta over steam-kontoer

Hei

 

Jeg har i det siste opplevd at to stk på min venneliste har kontaktet meg, og bedt meg gå inn på en nettaddresse, der jeg liksom skal få fire (tallet varierer kanskje) gratis steam-spill. Det er selvsagt en bløff, og siden er en dårlig laget side der en liksom skal logge inn med sin steam-info, så får dem selvsagt denne infoen og kan kapre steam-kontoen til stakkaren som går på svindelen. Selv syntes jeg at dette ser ut som en åpenbar bløff og egentlig ikke trenger noen advarsel, men siden to stk med kort mellomrom tydeligvis har gått på denne svindelen, tenkte jeg at jeg skulle si ifra, og høre om dere har opplevd noe lignende. Siste gang var nå nettop, og da fikk jeg tatt en skjermdump av samtalen. Addressen tror jeg ikke inneholder noe virus eller slikt (for sikkerhetsskyld gikk jeg først inn på den via iPhone), men er som sagt en enkel side som skal stjele brukernavnet og passordet ditt.

 

Dette er da selvsagt ulovlig, men kan ikke f.eks. Valve gjøre noe med dette, gjerne anmelde saken eller noe sånt?

Tror du må rapportere saken til Valve slik at de kan undersøke saken først. Men det er godt at du ikke biter på de ganske åpenbare triksene svindlerne har lagt ut her.

Hehe, det er sant. Men det skal sies at å trykke på linken i seg selv ikke gjør skade, men en skal liksom skrive inn steam-login info, og logge inn der. Når en gjør det får de brukernavn og passord, og sender deg videre (testet med tullebrukernavn og passord) til en side som ligner veldig på steam community, så du aner fred og ingen fare, mens de tar over kontoen din.
