SilentNET Skrevet 7. september 2011 Del Skrevet 7. september 2011 What's the delivery time on something like this? I'm pretty sure the regular black outside, black inside with 4-Way motherboard tray and _with_ window is 3-7 days or something, seeing it's in stock. But if you have to make one _without_ a window the delivery time would probably increase. If we are talking about several weeks I might just buy the standard version with window. Also, how would ordering the case without a window affect the price? Lenke til kommentar
LDCooling Skrevet 8. september 2011 Forfatter Del Skrevet 8. september 2011 Price for case without window will be almost the same . If you order it today It can be shipped tomorrow. My email: [email protected] Kind Regards Lenke til kommentar
SilentNET Skrevet 8. september 2011 Del Skrevet 8. september 2011 Thanks alot LD! My salary comes on monday, so I'll probably order it then Really appreciate the service. Your case rocks! Nobody better anywhere. My Lian Li goes straight into the basement when the PC-V8 arrives. Lenke til kommentar
Moraelyn Skrevet 9. september 2011 Del Skrevet 9. september 2011 It is really starting to bother me that innovation in the water cooling case market is predominantly appearing in MASSIVE chassis. DD, MM, LD, CL... all guilty of this. Why? I like the ideas. I hate the size. Lenke til kommentar
eXa Skrevet 12. september 2011 Del Skrevet 12. september 2011 There is no substitute for cubic inches... If you want good cooling with low noise you need alot of cooling area, so you need large radiator(s) And theeses cases are made with high end systems in mind. If you want a htpc or just a web browsing (and other light uses)machine you dont need anything like this and you dont need watercooling. An AMD A3850 ish system with a passive cpu heatsink, passive power supply and SSD, cooled by just a couple of low rpm case fans is plenty and will be VERY quiet No, theese cases are for big systems with multiple radiators.

I use a pair of Watercool Mo-Ra 2 Pros. I scoff at your tiny radiators. But seriously. Despite the size of my rads, they are compact. They won't fit inside a case, no, but they stand by themselves with a small footprint. Why someone would choose to use 4 or 5 small rads and cram them all inside a giant case... I just don't get it. AquaComputer is now selling 840mm rads. Still small, but it's a step in the right direction. Less rads, better use of space, reduction of needless complexity, more appealing dimensions: that's where I want the future to go. A move toward elegance rather than whale-ish girth. Malvado Skrevet 13. september 2011 Del Skrevet 13. september 2011 I've had a look at what's being offered and I have to say I really like the design. However I was wondering a little about what has been done to reduce sounds coming from devices such as Hd's and non water cooled Graphic cards? Does the cases have any sound dampening at all? SilentNET Skrevet 13. september 2011 Del Skrevet 13. september 2011 I've just placed an order for the case. Can't wait to do some building again Lenke til kommentar

Does the cases have any sound dampening at all? No, the case was made specifically for watercooling and has no sound dampening. It also lacks other things like thumb screws, dust filters, rubbered cable routing holes, etc. To be honest the LD case is really nice, but if you're putting that amount of money down you must consider all the options, which also include mountainmods.com and caselabs.net. Neither of which have any kind of HDD sound dampening, but there are pros and cons with all 3 manufacturers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLTu1CcQx1w Lenke til kommentar
