Problem med XFX5970BE

Har posta på et par forum allerede, så limer inn det jeg har skrevet på engelsk.

Hello there,

For a long while now, I have been trying to figure out what's up with my 5970.

In games, appears to be DX10 and below, I get this weird and extremely annoying graphical error. In some games you barely notice it, in some it's unplayable (In DX9 and DX10 this seems to be hit and miss, but any game under that that I've tried are filled with this ****.)

It used to appear in WoW, until I enabled DX11.

It also does not happen in Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which I am quite sure is DX11?

Also, if it's of any use, it does not happen in Minecraft.

It happens in games with and without CrossFire support.

It has happened on every driver, with and without application profiles, and through a BIOS flash (I nearly even bricked my card. ).

It happens on single and dual monitor setup, on both dvi ports.

I am quite sure I have formated my system disk while this has happened.

The card is at stock clocks.

What I have yet to try is to put in another PCIe slot, I am unsure I can make it fit in another one though but I will try.

I am 100% sure my card is not overheating (happens at ~40c).

I do not remember this happening as the card was new, if I recall correctly it pretty much got worse with time. I know for a fact it did with WoW, as it went from suddenly some weird buggy graphics to completely unplayable in some zones quite fast. It was mainly in the Outlands areas, and on some specific models. It didn't happen with just anything. In Counter-Strike Source it happens with gun models.

Have anyone else seen this? Can't find anything similar on google.

Is there anything I can do to fix this or should I look into getting it replaced?

So far, cause of the thing with only happening in DirectX 10 or below (Though I recently played Age of Empire 3 where it did not occur once), I am thinking it could be something with DirectX? As I can't remember if it has happened through formatting, maybe I should try wiping my DirectX installs?

Other than that I can't think of anything but a defected card, which sucks. :<

-Thanks,

Andeby

Om noen har hatt samme problem, si gjerne hva dere gjor om dere fikk fiksa det!

Ellers er det vel bare å sende inn skjermkort.

Lurer på hvordan netshop er med sånt ... :p

Mhv,

Andeby
