Noen som kunne sett over? ( Engelsk brev haster litt)

Hei, hadde i lekse å skrive et brev på engelsk til i morgen. Engelsk er ikke et fag jeg er så flink i, men gjør så godt jeg kan. Kan noen se over? Er ikke helt ferdig enda da.

Slik kan det starte, spessiellt om det er et brev ment til å pakkes ned i en konvolutt med slikt åpent hull.

 

Ellers burde du også sette opp teksten som en sammentrykka greie, hvis du skal ha nytt avsnitt så hopper du over en linje, ikke bare bruk neste linje. Type:

På det språklige vet jeg ikke, for jeg leste ikke igjennom teksten

 

Antar det ikke er et veldig formelt brev da det starter med "dear", men du kan likevel sette på:

Dear Peter, it was truly nice to hear from you and your family once again. It's been a long time since I’ve got a letter from you guys over the pond. I'm pleased to hear that you and your family, are doing so well. After all, America is the land of opportunities.

It was really cool too hear about your business, ten departments all over the country is good. I bet you never thought you would come so far, when you started up eleven years ago?

I heard that James came into the pilot school in the Navy, congratulate him from me. I always knew, that James would become a fighter pilot. Ever since we took him to the movie to see ''Top Gun'' with Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer. Haha, he was so excited.

I'm doing it well to, I have just passed the exam and I'm now working as an operative air traffic controller at Gardermoen. I really enjoy my job and look forward to go to work every day. The pay is quite good too. The downsides with this job are all the overtime, and the stress. Knowing that if you screw up, hundred's of people could die and and there may be damage for millions of kroner (The Norwegian currency)

 

I'm very sorry, that I couldn’t come visit you all when I was in the states. The atc school is quite hard, and we didn't have a lot of free time. There were long days at school, and when we came home we had to study for some hours.

I’m very impressed of the college I studied at. The teachers were good, the people were very nice and really interested in the Norwegian culture. Some of them didn't know where Norway was, some thought we had Polar bears walking around in the cities. Some of them even thought Norway was a place in Germany. The Americans gave me some quite good laughs the time I was there. North Dakota was I nice state, we lived in a place called Grand Forks. Its actually many with ancestry from Norway there. Of all the European groups with ancestry from Europe, the Norwegians are on the top with 35,7 percent.

I lived in an apartment with two other Norwegian students, we also bought a used car together. At our free time we went on some trips with the car and watched hockey. Hockey is a very popular sport in North Dakota, hockey is pretty big in Minnesota too. Isn’t it?

 

So, how's the weather in Minnesota? It's been ten years since I visited Minnesota, but I remember that the climate was just like the Norwegian climate. Has the global warming made any changes to the climate in Minnesota? I haven't noticed so much of that here in Norway, and thank god for that.
