husker dere tilbake, bomber funnet i sverige, tyskland, england og mange andre land i europa. og historien var akkurat det samme. de fant ingenting men ble fortalt å hyppe opp frykten og fortsette å holde folk unna der.

 

det hele viste seg å være ett spetakkel. de tålte kanskje ikke den voksende motstanden mot kroppscannere?

 

og nå skjedde det igjen. en såkalt "selvmordsbomber" i sverige, mens de viser noe helt annet. en brennende bil som ikke har noe med det å gjøre?

 

og hva blir konsekvensen av det? enda mer overvåkning?`

 

jeg trodde terroristene hatet frihet? vinner de ikke da hvis vi begrenser våres frihet for sikkerhet?

Jeg tviler på at dette er en handling satt i stand av myndighetene, men jeg er enig i at det er helt feil veg å gå, det å mistenkeliggjøre hele verdens befolkning for å forhindre noe som rett og slett utgjør en svært liten risiko.

 

Jeg hadde langt foretrukket å ikke ha et befølingspersonale på flyplassene enn å leve med den mikroskopiske risikoen det er at vi blir utsatt for enda en undertøysbomber. Ikke at det er mindre sjanse for det nå. Hvis deres mål er å drepe et stort antall mennesker, så er det bare å gjøre det i køen foran kontrollen. Men hvis deres mål er å gjøre oss ubekvemme med å fly, så har de lykkes, og de trenger ikke å utføre en handling som faktisk vil vise at mange av de sikkerhetstiltakene vi har er meningsløse.

Det vikigste forsvar mot den type kapring som skjedde 11/09/01, er at passasjerene selv handler og hindrer et fåtall terrorister i å ta over flyet. I tillegg til at cockpit nå er låst under hele flyturen, slik at ingen andre får tilgang til kontrollene. Det meste ellers som skjer på bakken er bare et sirkus. Det mest positive vi kan si om det er at det gir et inntrykk av sikkerhet. Men vi kan også si at det gir et inntrykk av at trusselen er langt større enn den er.

Javel? Så det å forhindre mennesker å ta med seg våpen på fly er ikke viktig? Fjerner man sikkerheten på bakken før flyturen så vil det å gå til motangrep på kaprere i luften bli umulig da de kan ta meg seg både kniver og skytevåpen. Muligheten til å ta med seg utstyr som gjør at man kan komme seg inn i cockpiten blir også større om man slurver på bakken. Det at det ikke har vært noen store angrep med fly de siste to-tre årene betyr ikke at det ikke er en trussel. Det som har skjedd er at sikkerheten, både i luften og på bakken har forskjøvet terrortrusselen over mot "mykere" og mindre beskyttete mål, som f. eks t-baner og store åpne plasser. Dette er jo synd for de som skulle være på feil plass til feil tidspunkt, men med tanke på hvor mye skade fly kan gjøre så er dette riktig prioritering. Selfølgelig er det viktig å ha passasjerer som reagerer, men dette kan man ikke stole på. Det man kan stole på er at man fjerner så mange muligheter som mulig før terrorister går på flyet. Dette øker også motstandsmulighetene til passasjerene.

 

Det mest positive vi kan si om det er at det gir et inntrykk av sikkerhet. Men vi kan også si at det gir et inntrykk av at trusselen er langt større enn den er.

 

Dette "sirkuset" er hva som har fått terrorister til å forskyve målet fra å være fly til tog-stasjoner og undergrunner. Når flyplassen og flyene er sikret såpass godt som de er for øyeblikket, så vil terrorister skygge unna. Derfor synker trusselen i takt med økningen av sikkerhet. Tro ikke at et lite dypp i frekvensen av angrep mot fly, som vi er inne i nå, betyr at det ikke er en trussel. Om flere og flere får samme oppfatning som deg, og til slutt sikkerheten blir kuttet ned på, vil nok terrorren komme tilbake for fullt mot fly.

Nå kommer du med hel del påstander som du skal få problemer med å verifisere. Hvordan vet du at terrorangrep mot fly og med fly kommer til å øke i omfang hvis vi nedgradere sikkerheten på flyplasser, før vi faktisk har nedgraderte sikkerheten? Hvordan kan du verifisere at bedre sikkerhet er direkte årsak for færre terrorangrep mot fly og med fly, når det i utgangspunktet var veldig få av slike angrep gjennom historien dvs. før sikkerheten var forbedret? Hvordan kan du verifisere hypotesen: terrorister skygger unna fordi sikkerheten er blitt bedre? Hvorfor utelukker du alle andre variabler som kan ha påvirkning for en slik konklusjon? Dette blir det vanlige filosofiske spørsmålet om håna eller egget, et spørsmål som er umulig å gi noen svar.

 

Det er alt for mange variabler som kan spille en rolle på terroristenes beslutning i forhold til hvor de ønsker å angripe. WTC 9/11 var ikke et tilfeldig mål. Mange tror at terroristenes mål under 9/11 var å drepe flest mulig uskyldige mennesker, mens de totalt ignorerer betydningen av WTC. WTC var et ikon på USAs, og Vestens, økonomi og dominans. Det samme gjelder for Pentagon som er et ikon for amerikansk militærdominans. Det var derfor disse to mål ble plukket ut, og ikke fordi et angrep mot WTC hadde størst potensial til å ta flest mulig uskyldige liv. På mange måter skiller ikke dette seg fra strategien til amerikanere i Afghanistan og Irak der de bevisst kalkulerer at sivile liv kommer til å gå tapt når de iverksetter angrep mot fiendens mål. Det er målets viktighet, og budskapet, som er viktig for begge sider. Dermed er det vanskelig å spå hvor, og hvordan, disse terrorister ønsker å ramme Vesten, uavhengig av sikkerhetsgraden. For alt vi vet kan det være at den store bevisstgjøringen og engasjementet fra den moderate delen av den muslimske verden i de siste årene som har bidratt til at disse fundamentalister ikke får verken økonomistøtte eller rekrutteringsgrunnlag i samme grad som før til å utføre flere angrep àla 9/11.

 

Til trådstarteren: Jeg skjønner at du stiller deg kritisk til myndighetens preferanser i forhold til sikkerhetstiltak i de siste årene, spesielt tatt i betraktning at vi innfører for hver dag mer og mer overvåking av samfunnet (datalagringsdirektivet er godt eksempel på det), men bevismengden fra din side er litt skjør. Hvorfor tror du at en overvåking av samfunnet uten grunn er et foretrukket mål for sentrale myndigheter? Hvorfor tror du sentrale myndigheter har i så fall så stor behov av å overvåke oss? Denne type overvåking er en meget dyr affære, dermed kunne de bruke disse penger andre steder i stede for å overvåke oss uten at det eksisterer en reell trussel. Enig?

Det er også medregnet i lista angrep på US/ISAF soldater og politi og lokalt militært personell.

 

Ikke alle vil godta det som terror, men tvertimot legitim motstandskamp

 

Dessuten savner jeg kildehenvisning til de enkelte hendelsene, slik at man kan få dobbelsjekket bakgrunn

1: Terrorisme er ikke, og skal aldri tillates å bli stemplet som vanlig!

 

2: At det er krig der muslimene bor er kanskje all sammenhengen man trenger.

Kan du vise til èn plass på planeten der det er muslimer, og ikke terror?

 

3: Ja, det er medregnet angrep på US/ISAF styrker, og noen vil naturligvis mene at det er legitim motstandskamp. Problemet er at de som mener dette er stemplet som terrorist organisasjoner av verdenssamfunnet. Så hvilken side er du på?

 

4: At angrep på militære og politi er med i listen endrer ikke på det faktum at de utgjør en forsvinnende liten del på listen. De fleste er slike som dette:

A government worker is shot twice in the head by Muslim 'insurgents' on his way to work.

 

Four teenagers and two women are hacked to death when Muslims armed with machetes attack a Christian village.

det var et falskt terrorangrep som ble kalt for trusebomberen, som var unnskyldningen de trengte for å sette inn disse scannarne. de ble også bevist senere at desse scannerne var bestilt lenge før denne "trusebomberen" oh at det skjedde tilfeldigvis like etter dette og at det skulle redde oss.

samme skjedde da. når TSA motstanden var på sitt høyeste som kom den en stor bølge av fake terror over hele europa av TSA terroristene

 

"Falskt terrorangrep"? Forsøket på å sprenge Flight 253 av Umar Abdulmutallab for 1 år siden mislyktes, det betyr ikke at det var falskt. Kom gjerne med bevis på at det iscenesatt.

 

Du er flink til å legge ved linker til falske alarmer, men hvorfor linker du ikke til alle de reelle terroraksjonene? Seneste for noen dager siden opplevde Roma flere brevbomber og en bombe uten detonator ble funnet på en t-banestasjon.
