Get those opt-ins ready for the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm closed beta! The sundering of Azeroth is nigh, and you don’t want to be left out in the cold of Northrend when you could be enjoying the sun-drenched beaches on the goblin isle of Kezan. To ensure you’re opted-in and eligible as a potential candidate, you’ll need a World of Warcraft license attached to your Battle.net account, have your current system specifications uploaded to the Battle.net Beta Profile Settings page, and have expressed interest through the franchise-specific check boxes.

Og hvis jeg så i tilfelle har fått en invite, hvor finner jeg det da på Battle.net (regner med at det ikke bare går via linken).

Yup, men trådstarter fjern linken så unngår vi at noen er "smart# nok til å klikke på den.

Samtidig du burde se etter 1 sekund at den er fake når den kommer med en us link til en eu spiller.

Bare ved å lese igjennom kan en lett se at det ser veldig amatøraktig ut. "Enjoy the game!", Blizzard ville aldri skrevet noe sånt i deres Cataclysm mail, de ville formidlet det på en mer profesjonell måte.

"To avoid graphical bugs and other technical issues, please ensure your video card drivers are up-to-date." Blizzard ville heller hatt en helt egen side med ett større aspekt av problemer (og løsningene til disse) som er viktig å ta for seg istedet.

 

Hvis noe ser ut som det er veldig amatøraktig så er det som regel det. De som lager disse mailene er profesjonelle og vil derfor få det til å se best mulig ut.

 

Som sagt tidligere så ville aldri Blizzard sendt deg som spiller på EU servere en US link.

 

Du kan også sjekke din Beta profil på eu.battle.net sin account side, hvis det ikke står noe der så har du ikke blitt invitert til Beta.

 

Sorry for å være en buzzkill, men du har nok ikke blitt tatt med i Beta testingen som resten av oss.

Uansett hvor amatørmessig det ser ut så kan det virke pr0 for n00bs eller de som er litt yngre som har lite forståelse.

 

Tenk deg at mordi begynner med wow og får slik mail, så klikker hu på linken og tenker AH det var jo login som sønnen min lærte meg :!: and ta-ta, der ga hu bort accounten, så, det finnes slike folk i verden som ikke tenker over det.

Congratulations! You've been selected to participate in the beta test of World of Warcraft^®: Cataclysm™.

 

As a beta test participant, you'll have the chance to experience the new content and features of Cataclysm before the expansion is released. We're looking to get your feedback on the overall gameplay experience, including quests, monsters, zones, dungeons, aesthetics, and more as we continue to implement new expansion content. We would also appreciate reports on any bugs you may encounter. These can be logged using the /bug command explained below.

 

Getting started:

 

1. Get the Installer: Log in to your Battle.net account. In your list of games, click the "Manage Game" button under the Cataclysm beta image to download the installer; you'll also be able to copy a character to the beta-test realms through the same page. Please note that your Battle.net account should be flagged for beta access within roughly 24 hours upon receipt of this email.

 

 

 

2. Install the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm client: Once you've downloaded the installer, run it and follow the directions to install the client on your machine. You must have a retail copy of World of Warcraft patch 3.3.0 or newer installed on the computer on which you want to install the Cataclysm beta test client.

 

 

 

3. Run the Game and Log in to Battle.net: After the game installs, the launcher interface should automatically appear on your screen. Log in with your Battle.net account and you'll be able to begin playing. You can launch the client at any time by clicking the desktop shortcut or by going to the Windows Start Menu.

Uansett så er det enkelt å finne ut om det er ekte eller ikke. Bare å logge inn på Battle.net og sjekke om du finner "Beta" under Manage Wrath of the Lich King.

 

Og med "å logge inn" så mener jeg at du manuelt navigerer deg til login. Ikke bruk noen eventuelle linker.
