Fjolvar Skrevet 28. juli 2010 Del Skrevet 28. juli 2010 Goddag, Sorry my Norwegian isn't very good so I'll have to post in English. I've been having trouble finding information about Engineers in Norway. I want to obtain my Master's in Electrical Engineering in Norway, however my BSc is in Applied Physics. I know that here in the U.S. you need to be a licensed professional engineer to be considered for most jobs but I'm not sure how it works in Norway. Could I ever obtain the title Høyskoleingeniør with a Physics BSc but a MSc in engineering? Sorry if this isn't the right place to post.. any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Tusen takk. -Ryan Lenke til kommentar
Blåbær Skrevet 28. juli 2010 Del Skrevet 28. juli 2010 You will not not get høyskoleingeniør-title, but they will recognize you bachelor as something equivalent to høyskoleingeniør if it is a 4 years degree. If you want to get a masters degree in engineering, It is possible but if there is some subjects that you are missing, then you have to take those also in addition the required syllabus for your masters degree. ITOslo Skrevet 28. juli 2010 Del Skrevet 28. juli 2010 With a BSc you can try to apply for an MsC in electrical engineering. As "Blåbær" says, you might need to take some subjects to complete the requirements, but that depends on which subjects you have in you BSc. Also, to be accepted in programs that are norwegian a language test is required. However, several universities have degrees in english. Have a look at these: http://www.ntnu.edu/studies/international/master http://www.hin.no/index.php?ID=5472 http://www.uio.no/english/studies/programmes/ Lenke til kommentar
