Android 2.3 Update for HTC Desire kan nå lastes ned fra HTC Developer. Dessverre ingen OTA enda. Håper det kommer en ny oppdatering senere for vanlige brukere.

No, this downloadable RUU is the official update to your phone. The update required that we conserve space by removing customizations and wallpapers, we had to release the update as a downloadable update.

Er det noen som har lastet denne ned og prøvd den? Hadde vært kjekt å fått Gingerbread på telefonen :thumbup: ?

Tilgjengelig intern lagringsplass (etter installasjon av kun 3G watchdog) er 126MB.

Så det blir enda mindre intern lagringsplass? Da er denne oppgraderingen uaktuell for min del tror jeg. Jeg sliter mer enn nok med de 147MB jeg har i dag, utrolig teit denne måten de har løst lagrings plassen på.

 

Tror nok jeg må roote og finne en måte å få mer lagrings plass på uten å knote alt for mye. Er drittlei å ha kun 15MB ledig, har ikke så mange apps inne. må slette noe hele tiden for å teste ut nye apps.

Samme sense som før, med noen få tweaks som f.eks fastboot, nye ikoner, bedre klokkeanimasjon (flip clock).

Har plutselig fått et problem med Desire'en min. Her en dag var alle apps på minnekortet "borte". Minnekortet virket til alt annet, men ikke apps. Hvis jeg prøver å installere en app på kortet/en app som automatisk legger seg på kortet, får jeg feilmeldingen "Feil ved installasjon. Kunne ikke installere på USB-lagring eller SD-kort."

 

Noen som har peiling på hvorfor det er slik? Har lastet ned noen av appene igjen og lagt dem på internminnet, men der er det jo i utgangspunktet fullt fra før... :-/

Eneste måten å få nyere sense på er root + custom ROM, men hvis du har installert 2.3.3 oppdateringen fra HTC finnes det akkurat nå ingen måte å få root på. Det går heller ikke an å gå tilbake til stock 2.2.

Ja, det gjør den. Er en del på xda som har prøvd det meste for å få tilbake root, eller gå tilbake til 2.2. Hvis root er viktig for deg må du enten bruke custom roms basert på denne oppdateringen, eller vente og se om noen gidder å finne ut av hvordan man får root med ny HBOOT.

Da ville jeg ha ventet til oppdateringen kommer opp på telefonen din og installert på vanlig måte.
