Meget god kamp av Tomas i dag. Skjønner absolutt ingenting hvis han ikke starter neste kamp.

“He rarely scores, but [his goal against Spurs] was so important,” recalled the captain in tonight’s Official Matchday Programme. “He started the move himself and then finished it really well.

 

“Tomas is a hugely important member of this team - he has been playing so well this season and you can see that he’s going from strength to strength.”

 

 

Rosicky’s ability on the ball and eye for a pass are matched by few at the top level - and Van Persie believes that his astuteness just cannot be taught.

 

 

“I just love playing with him because he’s so quick in his mind, so clever in the way he sees passes and so adept at completing them,” he said.

 

 

“He’s just football-clever, and that’s something you can’t pick up later in your career. You either have it or you don’t.”

 

 

 

 

and Szczesny believes he is becoming more influential by the game….

 

“He has been fantastic for the last few weeks now, scored a great goal against Tottenham and was my man of the match in that game,” said the goalkeeper.

 

 

“He was great again here and hopefully he can keep going because when he plays like that he is a fantastic player.

 

 

“He can take people on in the middle of the park too. I think we dominated the midfield in the first half and he made the difference. He is fantastic.”

Viste virkelig klasse i kveld. Hadde han scoret fremfor å bomme midtveis i andreomgang så hadde det rett og slett vært en meget eksepsjonell kamp fra Mozart. Ufattelig innsats og entusiasme. Står frem som en skikkelig fighter.

Tror spillestilen vår i år med mer kontringer og mer direkte spill passer Rosicky mye bedre enn balltrillinga vi hadde før, og det vises. Har et enormt tempo i den lille kroppen sin, og klarer han å holde nivået så ser jeg ingen grunn til at han ikke skal spille fast ut denne sesongen og neste.
