Hovedkort og CPU

Jeg har sikkert et veldig dumt spørsmål som jeg håper å få svar på.

Jeg har et Aopen MX36LE-UN hovedkort. I spesifikkasjonene står det at det skal støtte CPU fra 600mHz og oppover. Da lurer jeg på følgende: Går det ann og sette en 450mHz prosessor i kortet uten problemer? Og hvis ikke: hvorfor??

Tipper det har med forskjellige sockets. At f.eks Pentium 2 og 3 har forskjellige sockets, og at du har en Socket 370 som kun passer til pentium 3 og celeron (++).

Da tipper du nok feil. For det første er det et AMD-kort og for det andre er begge socket A. Jeg har både hovedkort og prossessor, men jeg mangler maskin og ha det i. 8)
