looking for norvegian penpals !

Hello !!

 

my name is Alain , I am french , 44 years old

(born on december 24th !! yes , yes ) and I would like to find norvegian penpals

because I "love" Norway, it is a wonderful country with amazing landscapes where

I have never been till now but I will go once , it is sure ....

 

I live in eastern part of France , 30km from the german border

I ve been working at Air France Cargo for 18 years now , this is the

freight department of the french national airline : that also means that

I do not wear a smart uniform of pilot but just sit in an office all day

trying to answer my customers' requests and questions , I give also rates ,

negociate contracts , deal with claims , do bookings etc etc ....

 

As for my hobbies I like to read a lot (especially historical novels) , to go

to movies , to have good meals with good friends and of course to travel

as much as possible which is easier due to my job !!

I would also like to learn some norvegian if you help me and I can , obviously

help you with french ....

But it is so beautifull! You know what they say:

The Britains expect you to speak English (because they are Britains ), the Frenchmen get mad at you if you do not speak French (because French is the "lingua francia"), and the Germans are just happy if you speak German (you know, after WWII and such ...).

I am sorry you have been disappointed and I understand you well. Maybe you tried the wrong forum. This is a language forum dominated by odd characters quarreling about linguistic trivialities. Hopefully the response had been a bit more intelligent if you had tried our Social forum instead:

I am not angry with all norwegian , I try to remain clever enough and not to judge a whole people because of some people's silliness !!! :-)
