Fred7555 Skrevet 31. desember 2010 Del Skrevet 31. desember 2010 (endret) Re-watched akkurat Code Geass for 5. gang. Denne gangen begge sesonge etter hverandre/i strekk. ~24 timer. Begge er spoilere for serien, så ikke les om du ikke har fullført Code Geass Theory about the storyline: So, I was having a discussion with a friend of mine via e-mail about R2 episode 21 and how C.C. ended up in the capsule in the first place way back in episode 1 of R1. I began to formulate a theory to answer that question, but it ended up being a massive theory that potentially explains everything that seemed out of place in R1 and especially R2, and may provide some insight as to what the executive meddling in R2 actually changed. Here's my theory, copied and pasted from the e-mail with minor modifications: Charles wanted to keep C.C. hidden until she was needed to do her part in the Ragnarok plan. However, Clovis, in a stunning display of not being a useless character, actually stumbled upon some secret documents or other evidence hidden even from him on the Geass Cult and their role in Charles's rise to power, or perhaps even Ragnarok itself. In an attempt to gain more power for himself, he assembled a group of his most trusted advisors to capture C.C. and find a way to duplicate and/or negate her mysterious power. This project, possibly intended to be the forerunner of a coup d'état, became the elite Code R research team mentioned in season 1 and headed by Bartley (the guy with the monocle). This would explain why Bartley expressed concern early in season 1 about people finding out about C.C. being lost from the transport truck -- not because they'd find out about Geass, but because they might uncover the coup attempt. It would also explain why in his death scene he spoke directly to Clovis, saying they should have never captured C.C., implying they were working on orders from Clovis as opposed to the Emperor. They ultimately succeeded in capturing C.C., and the research that they accomplished while she was in custody allowed them to partially copy C.C.'s healing ability. After the assassination of Clovis, Bartley was stripped of his rank by Jeremiah and sent to Britannia as a prisoner, according to Wikipedia. However, Schneizel would later uncover their research and their plans for a coup. Recognizing their usefulness, Schneizel ordered Bartley and the rest of the scientists released, assuming personal command of Code R to further his own ambitions to take over the empire. His first task to the group was creating an unstoppable soldier capable of bearing the brunt of the effort behind said coup. The disgraced yet talented Jeremiah, now almost dead, was chosen as the test subject. Using the research on C.C.'s healing ability in conjunction with state-of-the-art prosthetics, Jeremiah was revived. Chief among his cybernetic enhancements were the neural links along his spinal cord that allowed him to pilot the experimental Siegfried KnightMare, the final piece of the "unstoppable" puzzle. After the Black Rebellion, Code R was disgraced by the fact that their star subject, Jeremiah, had supposedly been killed in battle and the Siegfried destroyed with him. Amidst the chaos, either Charles or V.V. discovered the research Code R had kept secret for so long. Charles, foreseeing the imminent activation of Ragnarok, decided that Schneizel's mutinousness was insignificant, as it would soon be washed away by the new world order. Seeing Lelouch as much more of a threat to the fruition of his plans, and knowing him to be a Geass user, he offered to give the Code R scientists amnesty from prosecution in return for them joining the Geass Cult and aiding his own cause. This explains why Bartley was reluctant to follow the orders of the Emperor, but nevertheless still did. While he knew that Ragnarok would mean "the end of the world" (as he mentions in the show), he probably hoped that those plans would ultimately fail, meaning that as long as he stayed a "free" man, he would be all right. Shortly thereafter, when Suzaku brought Lelouch into custody, Charles Geassed Lelouch because he was reluctant to outright kill his son. However, recognizing the danger he posed to his plans for Ragnarok, he recruited the professional Geass assassin Rolo to be his surrogate brother and to contact Charles if Lelouch ever regained his memories. He also made Viletta into another spy at Ashford based on both her military training and the fact that she'd been Geassed by Lelouch before, thereby rendering her immune to further attempts. At this point, Charles believed that he'd done everything he could to ensure Lelouch survived, but if these plans failed, he'd have no choice but to have him killed by Rolo or Viletta. Meanwhile, Nunnally was separated from Lelouch, since his new memories would create a marked change in his personality, right down to forgetting who his parents were. This would make even the innocent Nunnally suspicious, and as such Charles took her in under his own personal care, likely through special servants. She later asks him if she could become the new Governor General of Area 11 after Carares is killed (canon according to Wikipedia), proving that Lelouch has regained his memories. Charles accepts the request because he feels that Area 11 is dangerous only because of Zero, and he knows that Lelouch would not hurt his sister. He probably even hoped somewhat that Lelouch would lose his resolve to fight if Nunnally was made the face of the enemy. Learning about the experiments that had been performed on Jeremiah and the creation of the Siegfried from the Code R scientists now working with the Geass Cult, V.V., acting outside Charles's authority, ordered them to recover what was left of both the man and the machine. Code R was then able to recover the Siegfried from the bottom of the ocean to find it still in salvageable condition. Jeremiah was also found to be in mostly good shape, thanks in part to the experimental healing ability he received based on C.C.'s power combined with the Siegfried's armor bearing the brunt of the crushing water pressure. His artificial prosthetics however had to be replaced, explaining the numerous enhancements and slight color changes present in R2. V.V., caring less about Lelouch than Charles, then ordered the creation of a device with the ability to cancel the effects of Geass, which would be the ultimate trump card in the battle between Charles and Lelouch and ensure that his brother's plans would face almost no opposition. This research soon led to the Geass Canceller, and the miracle survivor Jeremiah was naturally selected to be the device of the unit. Charles later grows suspicious that Rolo and Viletta have defected to join the Black Knights (I use "defected" loosely in Viletta's case). However, he believes that Nunnally's presence as Governor General will still delay Lelouch enough for Ragnarok to be completed, and as such does not worry about it. V.V. is not so trusting of Lelouch, and as such sends Jeremiah to kill him in a mission kept secret from the Emperor. (The fact that Jeremiah was sent by V.V. without the knowledge of the Emperor is implied in R2 episode 14, shortly before V.V. dies, and it is shown that Charles was not happy about it.) Also, when Jeremiah ultimately confronts Lelouch, Lelouch deploys Gefjun Disturbers to disable his Sakuradite-powered cybernetics. Jeremiah is able to keep moving because of the healing ability he gained from Code R's research on C.C. This also explains how the large amount of bleeding he endured as a result healed completely in time for the next episode, beyond the usual "he's an anime character" explanation. Of course, no one knew the personal motivations of Jeremiah well enough to know that he would defect to Lelouch's side. From this point on, the history of Code R and the Geass Cult, including their discovery by Cornelia and their ultimate destruction at the hands of the Black Knights is fairly well-documented in the storyline of R2, and as such I don't feel the need to continue further. Finally, this theory also shows one important thing: R1 and R2 are totally compatible. This leads me to believe that Taniguchi never actually changed the storyline, but rather was forced by the network to de-emphasize certain background storylines, such as the one outlined above, since an understanding of my theorized storyline is highly dependent on first-season knowledge. Meanwhile, less show-knowledge-based storylines such as the Chinese Federation arc and the roles of Rolo, Xingke, and the Tianzi were more heavily emphasized. Overall, the story never changed. Isn't that a nice thought? + En oppsumert post om seriens slutt Why Lelouch he is alive - Charles Code. He took either took it or received it before Charles died. You can see his arm is around Lolu's neck. He may have given Lolu his code for punishment. Since he destroyed his (Charles) own world/tactic, he wanted Lolu to live in Schneizel world in eternity for punishment. He also gains the most Powerful Geass which allows him to receive a Geass. - C.C. The most obvious evidence. In the end, she talks to Lolu 'cause he is the driver, and not to herself. If she talked to herself, she would not have talked that loud nor leaned towards the driver. She would have closed her eyes, said it low or such. - C.C. wish. Her true wish was to be loved, not to die. She realized that when Charles was in process of killing her, she noticed when Lolu said he would make her smile and care for her. Also at the end, Lolu promises to come back and make her smile, in other words love her like her wish. - C.C. talks at the end. All of you who says she talked like she talked to Marianne, she can't. The only reason why she could talk to Marianne is because of her Geass which enabled her to stay alive. Since Lolu had no such Geass, she couldn’t have talked to him like she did with Marianne. Also the World of C is kind of destroyed. - Lolu's body at the end. He clearly is a cross, hence crucified himself for the world. Take the entire world since and die, familiar with Jesus. And Jesus came back. - Orenge-kun. He would never had let it happened like that. Many say he's happy to make Lolu's wish reality, but he would never smile like that. Then he would have bowed, closer his eyes or such and said "Was an honor to serve you, Master" or such, not be happy about Lolu's death. And if Lolu died, he would have served Nunally, but he chose Orange-place. If Lolu died, he would have served Nunally because she is the only child left of Marianne. - The place. Like over, he would have served Nunally and not chose an orange-farm. If you remember Season 1, Mao had a white house Australia. if you look closely at the background at the end with CC + Lolu, there is a white house. Hence Lolu + CC drives on a trip while Anya (Lolu kept her/she stayed also for a reminder for his mom) + Orenge stays home and gets the oranges. - Code Geass - R2. (L = R in Japanese, Lelouch Lampelouge = RR) Title says it all. No one has ever gotten a Geass from a code-bearer and then a Code from another person. The Geass disrepairs when you're code is activated if u receive the code from the same person u received Geass. Since he got from different, he has both. He did not receive it from C.C., just check her forehead after the World of C-happening. - Nunally's flash. It is said she could tell between lie and truth my holding a hand, never check the person's memories. When she touches Lolu's hand, she can see his memories just as Lolu can with CC. The only possibly for this to happen is if Lolu had a Code. - He's talk with C.C. "If you are a witch, I shall become a warlock". Since he always calls CC a witch cause of her immortality, he shall become a warlock, same as witch but for males, hence he would become a warlock who is immune. - To repay his sins. Of course to die is the ultimate sacrifice, but then he's simply dead. That’s not really to repay for his sins. To live with knowing all of his sins, knowing what he has done, knowing he have killed millions of people and still live is much harder. Now he lives in Australia fully aware of his sins. He did the whole dying-scene to make the world a better place. - Code Geass. It only shows memories when activated, and it’s only activated when u die (unless you have it like CC). Just as when CC user her code/it became active during their first encounter, she showed Lolu memories. Same as in Narita, when she uses her code on Suzaku, and Lolu touched her, he saw her memories. When Lolu died his code became activated, and show Nunally his memories. - Drivers face. Why hide at all if he's dead. They hid it for a reason, because it’s Lolu and he's alive. And he's hiding for the world, hence hidden face. - Suzaku, "I accept this Geass". It could mean that he received some kind of Lolu since now he’s code was activated and he could give people Geass. - I believe not though. In the flash back when they plan it all, they say "Geass is like wishes." Therefore Suzaku says, "I accept your wish", in other words Lolu’s wish that Suzaku should be zero forever. - Some may argue because at the official guys it says that Lolu is dead, but it says "Lelouch Vi Britannia" is dead, which is Lolus plan. The evil emperor died, while Lolu, which has given up his name, lives as R2. - Tears of CC in church. It can be because she knows he'll die, but it can also because she knows he chosen an immortal life, like her. She knows how painful it can be. Therefore she is crying because she knows he chosen immortality and her. Tears of both sadness and joy. Det samme gjelder for sitatene over.
