Advanced Abit KT7/KT7-RAID BIOS Switch

Today i got myself a VERY, VERY cheap Abit KT7 mainboard, because the previous owner had flashed is bios incorrectly,and didn't want the board anymore.

 

In my computer I have an Abit KT7-RAID motherboard, and I was wondering if the bios on this chip is identical to the other one (which doesnt have raid), or is it some way I can re-flash the bios on the cheap KT7 i got?`

 

I've heard its possible to remove the original bios chip right before flashing it, and then put in an other chip (in this case the KT7 bios), and then the flash program would flash the KT7 bios and later i could place it on its native board, and put back my KT7-RAID bios in the original motherboard. And then i would have two working motherboards. Is this possible?

 

And one last question, what is the most effective tool (except for a custom made one) for removing the bios chip from a motherboard?

Jeg er klar over at biossaviour er å få tak i, men vil helst gjøre det mest mulig kostnadsfritt.

Tviler vel egentlig litt på den, da jeg ikke tror BIOS brikken er HotSwap.....
