Hvordan lage backup av Cod5 online profilen?

Tittelen sier det meste, jeg lurer på hvor denne filen ligger. Har funnet ut at det ikke er som cod4 ettersom at saven ikke ligger i programm mappen.

online profilen ligger vel ikke på pcen i det hele tatt, den ligger vel sentralt på spillserverne, nettopp for at folk ikke skal klusse med den....

 

Hvorfor trenger du backup av den filen?? Formatering??

Windows Vista

 

Open the games browser (start -> games) Right click on the entry for Call of Duty - World at War and select saved games Backup the players folder

 

Or if the game is not in your games launcher or you cannot locate the games launcher do the following:

 

First you need to setup your system to see hidden files and folders in Vista: Click on the Start Menu Select Control Panel Double-click on the Folder options Select the View tab Select the option to view hidden files and folders

* Click on the "Start Menu"

* Select "Control Panel"

* Then click on "Tools"

* Click the "View Tab" then tic "Show hidden files and folders".

 

* Next browse to the data you wish to backup

* Go to start -> computer

* Backup the Players folder and servercache.dat file to a safe location

 

Windows XP

 

* First make sure you can see your hidden files and folders in XP:

* Click "My Computer". At the top of this window click "Tools" then "Folder Options".

* Click the "View" tab, then "Files and Folders" then "Hidden files and folders".

* Now check the one marked "Show hidden files and folders".

* Now Click "Apply" then "Okay" at the bottom of this window.

 

* Next browse to the data you wish to backup

* Go to My Computer then in :

 

c:\Documents and Settings\<your Windows username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\

 

* Backup the Players folder and servercache.dat file to a safe location

takk for svar, jeg trenger det som backup. en kamrat hadde akkurat ranket opp til 65 og plutselig mistet ranken og slikt blir litt nærvøs, vil ikke at det skal skje med meg
