Personally, I never use this way. I re-use the same MP4 h.264/AAC 720p file I use for local viewing on my PC, youtube/vimeo upload, DVD burns (that I might do in the future), and watching on HDTV via my XBoX360 or Sony PS3.

 

I have found that the easiest way is to just pop the files to the hard drives of my gaming consoles (either via UPnP saving, or via copying it on a USB drive). WMV files from Movie Maker can do that too."
