How To Make Fake Blood

You Will Need

1 Bowl

1 Airtight container

1 Mixing Spoon or whip

Peanut Butter

Corn Syrup

Clear or red liquid dish soap

Liquid red food colouring

Cocoa Powder

Cornstarch

Different Food Colourings

Step 1: Mix The Ingredients

Heat about one cup of creamy peanut butter for about 30 seconds in the microwave until it is the consistency of dripping syrup. Then you will need to add about one quart of white (clear) corn syrup and stir constantly until the mixture is runny. Now you will need to stir in one ounce of red food coloring, and one half cup of clear or red liquid dish soap.

Step 2: Add Your Different Additives

There are some recipes that may call for different ingredients for fake blood. Some recipes can also include blue or green food coloring to make the blood look a different shade of red and more realistic. Cocoa powder can also be used instead of peanut butter to make a pasty blood texture. To thicken the mixture if it is too runny, you can add enough cornstarch or flour to suit your needs.

Step 3: Use Your Fake Blood

Many people may use fake blood for their Halloween costume, parties or haunted houses. Others may want to play a prank on friends. The fake blood can be used to make fake wounds or even be put in a person’s mouth or eyes to imitate internal bleeding. Different types of fake blood can also be used in many parts of the film and movie industry, to really give the feel of a scary scene.

Step 4: Store Your Fake Blood

Always refrigerate any unused fake blood in an airtight container after every use. If the mixture turns a different color over time, or has any signs of mold or mildew, then it is best to dispose of it and make a new mixture. Since it is such a low cost recipe, disposing and starting over is really not that big of a deal as far as your health is concerned

Lykke Til :)
