Hiya Gabriel :)

You obviously have a very reliable source, since your claiming our guide is a plagiarism of your own guide, without knowing Norwegian yourself.

Since you also sent us an e-mail I suggest we solve this matter using e-mail.

Hi Gabriel,

Since you decided to take this case public nine minutes after you sent me an e-mail, I’ll give you the same reply and explanation here. As my editor says, I suggest we solve this matter using e-mail and then post the results here.

First and foremost I must say that my article is not a copy of your article. My article is based on a number of sources, both books and internet articles. After reviewing power supplies for over good amount of time, had the interest for electronics trough many years, taken education in electronics and after writing five other articles regarding Power Supplies, I had a lot of unorganized knowledge about this subject at the back of my head.

I must ask; you say that my article came to your attention, but how? Is it not a bit far fetched to demand that we remove the article without any other explanation? You don’t mention any sources of how this is a copy, so I simply ask how you mean my article is a copy of yours? Actually it was your article that got me on the idea of writing an article about the anatomy of a power supply, since it don’t exist a Norwegian article about this subject. But it stops there.

The Norwegian code of ethics clearly states that I have to aim for diversity and relevance in the choice of sources (§3.2). Basically I used a diagram of the underling structure of the PSU as my outline for the article, and then gathered a load of information from many sources based on that. The reason to why many of the pages are in the same order, I think is simply because we have used the same source for our outline – an outline witch is the most logical one. Remember that most of this information is text-book at high school.

No offence, but I must say that just because you wrote an article about the anatomy of a PSU, you don’t own all the information that exist about the anatomy of a PSU. My article has a quite different structure of sentences and use of words, and as you say, all the pictures are different. It’s an article about the same subject, but it is not the same article in a different language. According to the definition of what is a plague, and what is a new private property, my article is so different from yours but within the same subject, that I would say this is not a plague.

Best Regards
