Well the Corsair HX1000 is one powerful PSU. Quality components for sure. I guess you need a highly overclocked quad core CPU and tripple SLI to stress that thing hard.

My psu survived the test, although a bit of fluctuation on the 12v line untill it stabilized on roughly 11.6 throughout the whole test. I guess im getting close to the max number of devices I can put on the 12v rail before having to get a better and stronger psu.

Testet nettopp watt sluket og fra normal til 3dmark vantage økte watten med 150watt og fra normal til OCCT PSU test økte watten med 220watt.

Skal nå teste spill og se.

Just to be sure : OCCT PSU didn't make a 1000W PSU go in protection mode (black screen). Tell me i didn't understand correctly

The name OCCT comes from "OverClock Checking Tool". A friend of mine remarked that it was close to the name "CCCP3. Thus the russian theme. it carried also ideas like community (which is very strong and nice in the overclocking field, etc).

 

When i started working on the new version of OCCT? i first called it "OCCT NG". This version was sporting, among new features, a brand new translation engine, and thus supporting many languages. The guy who was working in front of me at that time told me "why don't you call it perestroïka ? it's like Gorbatchev's perestroïka : opening OCCT to the rest of the world". I had a good laugh, and the name adopted

hi, I think I found the reason why I got bluescreen under the maximum power thest. It was possibly a short-circuit problem on my fan controller (12v). Now my computer (finally) is up running, and it's been working well so far.

this is how my computer looks for now^^ trying to hit maximum air stable clock before i put everything back to my rig.

It looks wery well right now.. the bad thing is that i again contacted my net-shop and asked for RMA, and found that it worked well after taking everything back to start^^.. But i need some days to see if that actualy was my problem. my computer still have some strange problems finding SLI...
