Betroz Skrevet 25. november 2008 Del Skrevet 25. november 2008 (endret) Well the Corsair HX1000 is one powerful PSU. Quality components for sure. I guess you need a highly overclocked quad core CPU and tripple SLI to stress that thing hard. Endret 25. november 2008 av Betroz Lenke til kommentar

Malvado Skrevet 25. november 2008 Del Skrevet 25. november 2008 Tetedeiench : The latest version does indeed fix the linpack issue with the power supply test, just tested and verified My psu survived the test, although a bit of fluctuation on the 12v line untill it stabilized on roughly 11.6 throughout the whole test. I guess im getting close to the max number of devices I can put on the 12v rail before having to get a better and stronger psu.

Tell me i didn't understand correctly Tetedeiench : The latest version does indeed fix the linpack issue with the power supply test, just tested and verified My psu survived the test, although a bit of fluctuation on the 12v line untill it stabilized on roughly 11.6 throughout the whole test. Glad to hear it (that the test is working, not that your PSU is at its limits ) Testet nettopp watt sluket og fra normal til 3dmark vantage økte watten med 150watt og fra normal til OCCT PSU test økte watten med 220watt. Skal nå teste spill og se. (thanks google translation), see, i told you i was much, much more demanding than 3dmark My measures are taken from the mural plug, thus you get the efficiency inside it (roughly 20/30%). you'll get different measures internally. I'll just remember that OCCT PSU asks for 70W more than 3Dmark Vantage, which is quite a lot (50% it seems). Lenke til kommentar

tetedeiench Skrevet 26. november 2008 Del Skrevet 26. november 2008 That is the coolest name for a piece of software I've ever seen. Are you a socialist? Actually, no, not at all. I'm not communist not even socialist. The name OCCT comes from "OverClock Checking Tool". A friend of mine remarked that it was close to the name "CCCP3. Thus the russian theme. it carried also ideas like community (which is very strong and nice in the overclocking field, etc). When i started working on the new version of OCCT? i first called it "OCCT NG". This version was sporting, among new features, a brand new translation engine, and thus supporting many languages. The guy who was working in front of me at that time told me "why don't you call it perestroïka ? it's like Gorbatchev's perestroïka : opening OCCT to the rest of the world". I had a good laugh, and the name adopted That's the story behind OCCT Mind you, i get emails sometimes from people swearing at me, saying "you're communist, you're a bad guy!" etc. I had people do that from england, USA, and other countries. SLiks Skrevet 26. november 2008 Del Skrevet 26. november 2008 hi, I think I found the reason why I got bluescreen under the maximum power thest. It was possibly a short-circuit problem on my fan controller (12v). Now my computer (finally) is up running, and it's been working well so far. this is how my computer looks for now^^ trying to hit maximum air stable clock before i put everything back to my rig. But i need some days to see if that actualy was my problem. my computer still have some strange problems finding SLI... Thx for OCCT that makes testing even more easy. and keep up the good work!
