Klubbheads (NL)

 

 

History... Klubbheads, founded in 1995 by Koen Groeneveld and Addy van der Zwan.

 

Klubbheads produced many classic hit records. from their first track "Klubbhopping" (Top 10 U.K.) to DJ Jean's "The Launch" (no.2 U.K. and no.1 in their home country).

 

As DJ's they saw almost every corner of the globe.

 

2008.... After dominating the international dance and club scene big time between 1995 and 2000, both as producers and DJ's, Klubbheads (Koen and Addy) are back at their roots: Producing pure dancefloor orientated tracks and pleasing clubbers on festivals and in clubs.

 

One of the higlights of their so called "comeback" is the recently most sought after bootleg of SL 2 "On A Ragga Tip" (Klubbheads Bootleg Remix). Hammered by the likes of the world elite DJ's Sander van Doorn and Marco V, this remix putted them back on the map again.

 

They continued this vibe by droppin' the double A-side release "Dubbfunking" and "Dubb" in March 2008. This track gained radio plays on BBC Radio One by a.o. Eddie Halliwell and Judge Jules and DJ support from Gabriel and Dresden, Marcel Woods, Menno de Jong, Marco V, Cor Fijneman, Sander van Doorn, Woody van Eijden and many others.

 

Koen Groeneveld is taking care of Klubbheads DJ gigs nowadays, which are a dynamic mix of Minimal, Tech House, Techno and Tech Trance.

 

2008 will be the definitive comeback of the 'Heads.... The guys are working on new tracks , remixes, pushing their label Konverted and their new monthly radio show, broadcasted on a the Dutch internet radio station dance-tunes.com

 

 

Big&Small (NO)

 

 

Big&Smalls members are Kenneth Bjerke, Christian Pedersen and ,Rune Shivertone. It all started when Kenneth and Christian played in local clubs and school-arrangements as two separate DJs. In 2003 Kenneth got some good response from Ministry of Sound Nordic, and he got a gig at one of Oslo’s largest concert-halls, Rockefeller. He was the warm-up act for Seb Fontain and Mark Hughes at Ministry of Sounds “Clubbers guide to…” party. Later in 2003 Kenneth, Christian and an earlier member, Michael Wicklund, decided to start the DJ-team. They started arranging small club-nights in different locations in the South-eastern part of Norway. That is how the name and popularity grew. The guys got known as a team who played groovy club-music that contained trance, house and hard-house. People knew them as a team who did not have any limits as to what they were playing. Mid-summer 2005 The Summer Parade in Norway was their next big project. They had their own fleat and the main anthem for the arrangement. That is where they got acquainted with Koen and Andy (Klubbheads, Hi-Tach and so on). They also played with these guys later on at the after-party: “The Moment” by Big&Small. They have also played at a Hard Dance Mania party and they have had their own tour. They have also played at several clubs in Norway. These guys have had the pleasure to have played with several national and international DJs: DJ Jean, Klubbheads, 4 strings, Pulsedriver, Mark Hughes, Seb Fontain, Luis Molinari, Carl E, Jamie and Lars Holte and more. After a while Michael felt he had gotten enough of the DJ-career and decided to leave the team, and in 2006 they got a new member, Ruben Naess. They produced several tunes together, and in 2007 they signed a non-exclusive one-year contract with Ocean Drive Records. Recently they have released the club-tunes: “Let me get it”, “All night” and “We like it hard”. Now a days Big&Small are playing a style they like to call “trancey clubbey electro”. They are now hoping for some fun challenges in the future!

 

 

DJ Charlie

 

 

Dj Charlie was born in Norway at April 29. 1982. He started his DJ career during the summer 2000. His first gig was more or less a clean pop session in a local club.

 

Since then he has entered various club scenes in Norway, but is now more active in The Netherland and Germany. He has also spinning records in clubs like:

Bora Bora and Pacha [ibiza]

 

DJ Charlie has developed his own style, which are groovy funky house to electro house and uplifting club beats. He have achieved big success with his style, and with his big skills he can guarantee your body will move when he in an exceptional way mix these styles of music.

 

In These days he also started different projects in the music industry and music productions are something his spend lot of time with and work very hard in his own studio (AndoreMusic) and he has established a brand new radio show “HotBeats”.

 

Maybe you also have heard his number one hits "Nothing But Funky Tunes" and

"Walk Of Fame" ? These two hits will guarantee rock the dancefloor all night long. These will be available in Beatport, djtunes and Juno Record soon.

Ikke spør meg hvorfor... Dette er bare en klipp og lim fra clublife forumet.

Kan ha noe med at line-up'n ble skrevet før det andre, så har det skjedd forandringer underveis.
