BIOS problemer "AWDFLASH.EXE"?

Asus P5N-E SLI

 

Prøvde å oppdatere BIOS, men etter restart av pcen kommer denne feilmeldingen opp:

"Looking for AWDFLASH.EXE

Boot CD....fail"

 

Det er ikke ordrett, men noe i den duren. Kan noen forklare hva har skjedd og hva må jeg gjøre for å fikse BIOS?

 

Har ikke prøvd enda, men tenkte jeg kunne brenne AWDFLASH.EXE på cd så skal nok pcen gjenkjenne filen?!?!?

Putt inn Asus support CDn som fulgte med hovedkortet.

Da skal det gjøre en crashfree recovery.

Users can reboot their system through the support CD when a bootable disk is not available and go through the simple BIOS auto-recovery process. ASUS motherboards now enable users to enjoy this protection feature without the need to pay for an optional ROM.
