Det vil bli 6 episoder i denne sesongen.

 

Ut fra informasjonen som har blitt gitt i Top Gear-magasinet kan vi vente oss å se traktor-testing, bygging av en lang Top Gear-limousin, en ”Cheap Car Challenge” i USA, en ombygging av en bil til en romferge, reparering av en vei i Warwickshire, James May som kjører Bugatti Veyron og krasjet til Richard Hammond med Vampire-dragsteren.

This week they try their hand at making petrol, deliver a verdict on the new Jaguar XKR, and talk to Star In A Reasonably Priced Car, Jamie Oliver. Plus, Richard celebrates his miraculous return to fighting fitness and shows chilling footage of his 288mph jet car accident.

Four months after Richard's 'upside down' thing, Top Gear returns and the Jaguar XKR is the first car to be featured. Now, Jaguar's are well known to be a bit thirsty, which could well be the reason why they also try to make their own petrol. At the very least, a small fire is expected. Also, the 288mph jet car crash which left Richard fighting for his life in September 2006, a crash from which he has made a complete recovery.

Jamie Oliver is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

Top Gear returns for a new series with the Aston Martin V8 Vantage up against the Jaguar XKR. The jet car accident which left Richard fighting for his life in September last year is also shown and Richard talks about his recovery. Jamie Oliver is featured as this week's guest as a 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car'.

Jeremy makes a public information film, James drives quickly and all three get thrown off a golf course in a riot of bad driving and appalling trousers. Simon Pegg is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

Jeremy makes a public information film, this involves crashing a train into a people carrier - a French people carrier. it might not have the same effect as the public information films from the 1970s, but at least the clothing will be authentic.

 

Speaking of appalling clothes, the lads try to play golf - the game which pervades exclusivity and stupid trousers - whilst testing the Audi TT, the Alfa Brera and the Mazda RX-8.

 

James, (or Crystal Tipps as I now think of him due to his hairstyle) in an attempt to bury his Captain Slow persona, drives the Bugatti Veyron which has a top speed of 252 mph.

 

Comedy actor, Simon Pegg is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

It’s business as usual this week on Top Gear.

 

We perform a public service by smashing a really big train into an aging French people carrier. Trust us, it’ll all make sense when you see it.

 

James makes the definitive bid to rid himself of his ‘Captain Slow’ nickname, by attempting to max-out the 252mph Bugatti Veyron at Volkswagen’s top secret test-track.

 

An A-list Hollywood star comes to our studio and has a ride in our distinctly C-list reasonably priced car.

 

And Jeremy, Richard and James try to decide on the best small coupe by taking the latest offerings from Audi, Mazda and Alfa Romeo to two of their natural habitats – a design museum and a golf course.

This week's show is an American special as Jeremy, Richard and James try to prove that a fly-drive holiday to Florida would be more fun if you bought a car instead of renting one. Having picked up some wheels for no more than 1000 dollars each, the boys embark on an epic road trip to find out who got the best deal, encountering heat, flies and very angry locals along the way.

This week we’re under-sexed, under-paid and over there as Top Gear heads Stateside for an all-American special.

 

Watch with shock and awe as Jeremy, Richard and James buy their own yank-tanks, before heading off on a massive interstate road-trip.

 

Along the way they’ll take in the vibrant, though slightly scary, nightlife of downtown Miami and alligator-strewn swamps of Louisiana, before eventually arriving in New Orleans.

 

It’s a roller-coaster ride of Americana in which we meet the Stig’s long-lost US cousin, learn to cook road-kill, and get run out of Alabama by an angry lynch-mob.

In this 'American special', Jeremy, James and Richard are on a fly-drive holiday with a difference. Instead of hiring a car, each has to buy a car for no more than $1000. Starting from Miami, they set out on an 800-mile road trip to New Orleans; driving through Alabama - where they find time to annoy the locals - and Mississippi. As usual, there will be some Top Gear challenges along the way; a meeting with Stig's hillbilly cousin and a lesson in cooking roadkill.

Jeremy finds a touch of the night in the new Porsche 911 Turbo, The Stig tears up the track in an insanely-tuned Mercedes SL, and Richard and James make one small stumble for man as they attempt to build a working space shuttle out of a Reliant Robin. Plus, Hot Fuzz actor Simon Pegg is the Star In A Reasonably Priced Car.

Another Porsche hits the Top Gear track, but will Jeremy be able to tell the difference between this new 911 Turbo and the old one? Whilst Stig plays with a tuned Mercedes SL, James and Richard try to turn a Reliant Robin into a space shuttle. One small step for a small man etc...

Strap yourselves in ladies and gentlemen, because this week's Top Gear is even more power-crazed than usual.

 

Jeremy goes seriously schnell as he takes the latest 720bhp creation, from mentalist German manufacturer Brabus for a spin on the test track.

 

We give Porsche's latest 911 Turbo flagship a full shake down, and see whether the everyday supercar has become a bit, well, everyday.

 

And Richard and James embark on Top Gear's biggest ever challenge, as they try to turn a Reliant Robin into a space shuttle. Trust us, you really, really don't want to miss this.

 

Plus comedy actor Simon Pegg will be joining us in the studio and doing his bit on the test track in our reasonably priced car.

Don’t adjust your sets folks, because this week Top Gear really is going green.

 

On our most environmentally friendly show to date, our intrepid presenters have a go at growing their own biofuel. But to do the job properly, first they need to test some really massive tractors on the Top Gear test track.

 

We then resume normal service as Jeremy tests the latest model from the daddy of supercar manufacturers – Lamborghini.

 

Also, actress Kristen Scott-Thomas adds a much needed touch of class to the proceedings, as she becomes a star in a reasonably priced car.

This week they go all rural as they harness a group of high-tech tractors and attempt to grow their own petrol. Meanwhile, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 dances with the devil on the test track and Kristin Scott-Thomas is the star in a reasonably priced car.

In response to recent criticism regarding speed, Top Gear presents to you - and I hope in particular, the Scottish Green Party, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. That's that criticism dealt with then.

 

They get through a fair amount of petrol on Top Gear, so in an attempt to find an alternative source of fuel, The Captain, Brokeback and Murderer go green - slightly - and attempt to 'grow' their own fuel. The sight of tractors on the Top Gear track will undoubtedly delight and confuse in equal measure. The chance of a small fire is also quite likely.

This week they build their own stretch limos out of the most improbable cars and then use them to take some top celebrities to the Brit Awards. Meanwhile, a good ol' boy Ford Mustang whoops around the test track and Billie Piper is the star in a reasonably priced car.

Top Gear has never been very good at showbiz glamour. After all, this is the show that booked Lionel Richie and then made him drive a Suzuki Liana until one of its wheels fell off. However, that's all about to change this week as our presenters have a go at building their own stretch limos.

 

When we drove the new Ford Mustang a few series ago, we didn't like it much. But now that the boys from Shelby have given it the once over, it's time for another look.

 

Also, Dr Who actress and star of West End play Treats, Billie Piper, will be joining us for a chat and a few laps of the track.

The perfect British hen night: A fat girl with a tattoo; her drunken friend with those little devil ears molesting a male stripper, 'L' plates, copious vomiting and of course - a stretch limo. But why hire one when you can make your own? Step forward the Top Gear boys who do just that. Once built, they use their stretch limos to ferry the 'stars' to the Brit Awards.

 

On the track, two Ford Mustangs: one tuned by Shelby and the other by Roush. Have the Americans finally built a car that deserves more than pointing and giggling from smug Europeans?

 

There's good news for fans of nerdy sci-fi this week; Billie Piper - the only woman your mum would approve of - is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

Blir herlig med Top Gear igjen. Synes sesong 8 var virkelig var bra, håper sesong 9 blir like bra.

Gleder meg jeg også. Tipper det blir ganske fett å se veyron i aksjon igjen. Forhåpentligvis på bane denne gangen. Clarkson kunne jo ikke fått rost den nok etter han fikk prøve den, da de hadde sånn top gear race fra Italia til England.

Angående Veyron, så ser det ut som Captain Slow skal kjøre den fort.

Ut ifra trailere og slikt ser det ut som de har gjort mye rart og morsomt.

Har lagt ut en ny liten trailer med James May og noen nye beskrivelser av episodene.

Alle beskrivelsene inneholder jo nesten akkurat det samme, men jeg legger ut det jeg kommer over.

 

Hvor er det han kjører Veyronen?

Jeg håper vi får se den rundt TG-banen. Lurer på hvordan den vil gå rundt der.

 

Ellers så trodde jeg det var flere Top Gear-fans her på forumet, men kanskje de ikke holder til i denne delen av forumet, eller kanskje det kommer flere etter at første episode er sendt.

Endelig mer topgear. Begynner å bli lei av se alle de gamle. Tenker da på alle sesongene av "nye" topgear. De gamle som starta på slutten av 80-tallet er jo helt håpløse etter dagens standard

 

Fifth gear har det også gått mye i, men det kan ikke sammenlignes med topgear når det kommer til underholdningsverdien
