Brigaden - ArmA 3 MilSim Unit

Brigaden is a well established and dynamicly evolving military simulation unit that works on the principles of real life combat. We take training seriously in many aspects, but still refrain from taking it to the extremes. We operate with NATO style protocols and procedures to ease the chain of command during operations. The core of our foundation is two divisions to keep the gameplay varied and entertaining. Brigaden is based on two divisions doing their seperate things while working together as one. The current divisions are our mechanized infantry(MCE) and air mobile division(ACE).

The split of personel here is 90% MCE and 10% ACE.

Our members are mainly Norwegian. But anyone that can speak fluent English is welcome.

We pride ourselves on a great community of mutual respect. We have a rank based hiearcy but we are still all equals, the differences is only in roles of the member out of combat. In Brigaden you will never be yelled at for not calling someone by their correct rank as that is something we belive does not help keeping the players immersed. For that we use a lot of mods. These can all be downloaded with the ease of Our personalised addonsync.

Right now we have two days that is mandatory training, Thursday and Tuesday This means that you will have to set a few hours aside each week for playing. We can offer great training camps for individuals, as well as giving advice on a players weak and strong sides. This will get you trough basic training with our experienced instructors. You will be enrolled as a private in our infantry section when first completing basic training. Everyone that joins Brigaden will start at the bottom as a basic rifleman. Once enough time has been spent as such you will be able to be specialized in to a more fixed position. Such specilizations might be something like combat medic, automatic rifleman etc.

One of the most important things to us is that everyone is able to work together as a team. We currently have one fixed fireteam of four members that always operate together, as well as a couple that are random for each training or scenario. Brigaden is proud to have at all times 20+ active members, but are looking to expand to get more abilities and generally have a better time playing with good friends.

Brigaden is pleased to have the ability to host alot of content, and we are looking forward to starting high quality public servers in the short future on our powerfull dedicated machine. This means we have the ability to always run training as well as public servers with ease and with great ping for everyone in Europe. We have moved away recently to becoming a multi culutured enterprise, and therefore are looking for people that can speak English and have a passion for milsim like us.

What we look for in return:

Be able to meet the mandatory Tuesday and Thursdag training. Times are shown in GMT. (19:00 - 22:00)

Have a functioning microphone and the ability to use mumble and teamspeak

Age of 18 and over. Special circumstances can be issued on very rare occation

Dedicated and social people who want to learn new things

Dont mind downloading a few mods to help everyone stay more immersed.
